• 3- First Trick or Treat Trot 5K Road Race. 1:00 PM start at Newburyport High School, Newburyport, MA. Assisted by WCRC. For more information contact Joe Manning at (508) 462-1073.
• 28 - The 7th Annual Turkey Trot 3.1 Mile X-Country Run/Walk. Proceeds to benefit the Winner's Circle Running Club's High School Cross Country Jamboree. 8:20 AM start at Maudslay State Park, Newburyport, MA. Long sleeve T-shirts to first 200 entrants, prizes and raffles. Sponsored by WCRC. For information call John Wile (508) 462-4620.
• 28 - 4th Annual Dreamcatcher Classic Road Race. 5mi run and 2mi fun run/walk. Weymouth, Ma. Computerized timing. T-shirts/ Goodies bags to the first 500 applicants. Also all runners will be entered in the post run raffles. TUFTS is sponsoring. South Weymouth Junior High on Pleasant street in Weymouth, Ma. Free refreshments, water on course. split timing at all mile markers. Music. $10 pre-registration fee or $12 day of the race. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. The Julie Rodick Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 176, South Weymouth, Ma. 02189, (617) 331-0600. Julie Rodick was a 30yr old woman killed in a mva in 1993. A scholarship has been set up to continue her memory and works. This year we will present UMASS graduate progam with 2 $1000.00 scholarships. We have present in the past 2 years a $1000.00 to UMASS graduate progam.
