• 5 - NH Marathon & 10K. 10:00 AM start on Saturday, October 5, 1996 in Bristol, NH. "...prettiest marathon course in New England!" according to Hockomock Swamp Rat. 1996 marks the 4th year of this event, noted for superior organization and volunteer support. Course completely circles Newfound Lake, providing breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains ablaze in the glorious colors of fall foliage. Some short but challenging hills.
